What we do
Orbital is a creative agency. That means we solve marketing problems by employing creative solutions through industry best practice and our own extensive experience. On-line, and on paper, we have the experience and creativity to increase sales, increase market share and increase understanding.
Our job is to change minds
Good marketing communications will drive customers to your website so they learn something new about your products or services. Who we work for
B2B and B2C communications are perhaps what we're best known for, particularly for brand building, website design and targeted direct mail projects that make it through the gatekeeper and onto the desk of the CEO.
Examples of our expertise in these fields can be seen in their results, such as £250 million of extra business for Motability through one DM campaign and 180 board level appointments set for Capgemini for just £47 each, the rebrand project we undertook for YO! Sushi, the work we do with CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants), the Business to Consumer work we do for the FSA and the Payments Council. We work with a highly diverse group of clients from large multinational businesses like Ernst & Young to small start-up operations like Beau Clinics and Fitness Inititative. How we work
As a communications company you'd expect communication to be very important in how we go about our work. In fact it's all about communication (and, of course, understanding). We take the time to get to know our clients, their customers and all stakeholders. No detail is too small, and we never miss an opportunity for a face to face meeting, chat, coffee (or anything stronger!) as all information we can gather helps build a more complete picture of the issues we face, leading us towards a creative solution that meets all objectives. Where possible we define project costs by anticipating the return on investment, this approach assures we are more likely to achieve our goals and our clients will get the maximum from their budget.
Who's who
Orbital was started 11 years ago by Justin Smith (Account Director), Helen Pegler (Creative Director) and Peter Bones (Company Sectretary, legal & financial). Since then we have expanded to 12 employees including five designers, two web developers and three account managers.
